A New Partnership for our April 29th Event

I am so pleased to announce that The Spring Stash on April 29th will be a benefit for GDF, the Genetic Disease Foundation.

The Genetic Disease Foundation (GDF) was established in 1997 by patients, parents and families who have suffered from genetic diseases. The Foundation's mission is to support research, education and the prevention of genetic diseases.

I know that this cause is on the minds of many Stashionstas, and this is our chance to help out.

The Stash will donate 15% of the evening's proceeds to GDF.

We are so thrilled!

The Stash Sale..a recap

Well, Stashionistas, the proof is the pudding!

You have spoken and what you are telling me is that The Stash is a source for fashionable women to get their fashion fixes in a responsible way.

I live across the street from Scoop - the mecca of all that is current and covetable. They still have their incredibly edited merchandise and no one - and i mean no one - is going in. But, at thursday night's sale, we had an amazing flow of clients throughout the 3 hour period and wrote 20 tickets...In 3 hours. Clearly, we are on the right track!

Women are hungry to update their looks for spring, and they want to be able to feel good about their purchases - not embarrassed that they spent money while the rest of the world is spinning out of control. The Stash enables women to be responsible consumers. We are adding a conscience to the fashion conscious.

Thank you all for coming Thursday night!

Welcome to The Stashionista File

Hey there, Stashionistas!

So, I thought it might be fun to chat with you on a more regular basis about the awesome stash I am culling for you.

In these uncertain economic times, who wants to add "What am I going to wear?!" to the pile of questions? I know I am overwhelmed at all the fashion that is being thrown at me everyday: hemlines, hair lines, pant cuts, colors, and of course, what can I afford to buy to keep me on trend this season!

So, that's what The Stashionista File is going to be about...how you CAN afford to stay fashionably relevant while not blowing the bank. Or, I guess you can say how to be budget, without looking it!

My job, to sort through the most fabulous closets in NYC and bring you the best items for each season at prices so far below retail it's really insane, has become more important as our national forecast has become more bleak. SO, stay tuned for ideas on HOW you can feel up to date without spending tons, and I will also let you know what chic items I have in my Stash.

The next Stash event is THURSDAY MARCH 12th at 7pm. The location is the fabulous apartment of contemporary art consultant, Severn Taylor 47 East 87th. We will be serving cocktails and sushi, and of course all the best fashion for you!
